| Okay, here's the more unpleasant part of my job. I've been in business a long time and the following have been sticking points for me in the past. I'm sure that YOU wouldn't cause any trouble, but please note that if chosen to be a part of the fastGRANT program, you accept the following terms:
• A non-refundable deposit of $397 is required to begin
• Information requested must be delivered in a timely fashion. Failure to deliver such will result in termination of the contract with Betsy Baker retaining all paid installments.
• No rewrites (on my behalf) after we have worked together to craft your proposal. The delivered grant template may be altered by you as seen fit but please note that I have taken great care to write what will be most appealing to the grant maker.
• You are responsible for actually submitting the grant applications to funders. No worries though, you'll have a complete list of deadlines and instructions for guidelines of the foundations that you'll be applying to.
• I will work with you up to a year from sign-up to deliver your grant template and funding matches. All meetings, emails and other business must be completed in this time frame. Failure to do so will result in termination of the contract with Betsy Baker retaining all paid installments.
• I never work on commission. First of all, in my professional association, it's against their Code of Ethics for me to accept a grant writing job based on commission payment. Second, work is work and everyone wants to be paid for their work. :) |
