“What Does Your Grant Authority Have to do with Nonprofit Consulting?”
In light of my recent posts, emails and training offerings, you may be asking yourself that very question right now. And it’s a fair one. So, please allow me to share a little history with you as well as an explanation.
I actually began YourGrantAuthority.com in 2010 as a response to so many people requesting how-to training for grant writing to grow their nonprofit’s financial base or seeking assistance in beginning and growing a grant consulting business like I had. This was just a natural extension for me that developed out of my own grant consulting business that began in 2001. Sharing tips and insight that help others in the grant writing field has been a dream come true for me! I thrive on the feedback that I get and am genuinely thrilled when I hear success stories from people I’ve helped coach. I often say, and it’s true, I am so blessed to get to do what I love for a living.
But, lately, what I have also discovered from working with nonprofit professionals is that there is a definite interest in providing consulting services - they just don’t necessarily want it to be in grant writing. So, here’s a challenge for me.
I want to continue being known as to the go-to gal for all good things grant writing but I also want to help others in the nonprofit field ready to forever escape a nonprofit “job” that’s not satisfying their personal life and career path. What to do?
Well, I think I’ve come up with a solution. In the next couple of weeks, I’ll be unveiling a brand new website IN ADDITION to YourGrantAuthority.com. You can continue to receive grant writing advice and guidance over at YourGrantAuthority.com and my new website will focus more on nonprofit consulting. Sound good to you?
